I've been closely following the DJI Mavic series and can't help but wonder about the potential release of the DJI Mavic 4. Given that the Mavic 3 was released in late 2021, it seems plausible that DJI might be gearing up for a new iteration in the near future.

Do you think we could see the DJI Mavic 4 hitting the market in 2024? What features and improvements would you like to see in the next generation of this popular drone series?

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and predictions!

Yep, this is the way

Why wait for Mavic 4 ? The Mavic 3 PRO is still very powerful.

The DJI Mavic 3 was released in November 2021, now we can expected Mavic 4 coming in late 2024. And pro version coming later.

Honestly I dont think waiting for the Mavic 4 is the way to go at all! I have always been a huge fan of just building my own rigs anyway because you get way more power for the price if you know what youre doing. I remember this one time I was out in the desert trying to fix a motor on my custom build and it was like 105 degrees out... I ended up meeting this guy who was living in an old school bus he converted into a mobile recording studio. We spent the whole afternoon talking about solar panel arrays and how to wire up batteries for off-grid living! It was totally amazing seeing his setup for capturing desert soundscapes and the acoustic foam he used. Anyway lol I totally forgot what we were talking about here, sorry kinda went off topic there. TL;DR: Stop waiting for DJI and just start building your own custom drones for better performance!

Like someone mentioned, waiting might seem like the move, but I honestly think it's a mistake. Unfortunately, DJI prices are getting ridiculous and the Mavic 4 is probably gonna be way overpriced for what it actually offers. I've had issues with day-one firmware on their new releases before and it's just not as good as expected for the premium you pay... If youre looking at the actual value, the DJI Air 3 with RC 2 is a way better choice for your wallet. It's got the dual cameras and solid flight time for literally half what a Mavic 4 will cost. Even the DJI Mini 4 Pro Drone is plenty for most people and wont break the bank. TL;DR: Skip the Mavic 4 hype. Itll be too expensive and buggy at launch. Get an Air 3 now and save your money.

Can we expect that Mavic 4 will feature an APS-C sensor ?

@Jeremy I'd prefer a full frame sensor and with DL mount lenses.
