Is there a way to send an Amazon cart link to friends? Im so pumped for this road trip we have planned for July but trying to coordinate the camping gear is literally killing my vibe right now. We are heading out to a music festival in Southern California and we need to buy a bunch of stuff like a 6-person tent, some portable chargers, and a camping stove but our budget is pretty strict since we are all broke college students haha. I spent like three hours today finding the best deals and I have everything sitting in my cart ready to go but I cant find a simple button to just send the whole cart to my buddies so we can split the cost or they can see what I picked.

Im basically looking at a few different ways to do this but I cant decide whats the least annoying for everyone else involved. Its a lot of stuff and I dont want to mess it up.

  • Option 1: Making a public Wish List and sending the link. It seems okay but its kinda slow because they have to click each thing individually right? Plus I heard sometimes it doesnt show the exact price or if something goes out of stock which would be a huge pain since we are watching every penny and trying to stay under that $500 limit for the whole group.
  • Option 2: Using this Share-a-Cart extension I found. It looks like it creates a code you can send but does everyone have to install the extension for it to work? That would be a dealbreaker because my one friend is super paranoid about browser security and honestly hes kinda tech-illiterate too lol.
  • Option 3: Just screen sharing on Discord and letting them see it while I talk through the items. It works but then they still have to go find the stuff manually on their own phones and I just know someone is gonna buy the wrong version of the power bank or the wrong size tent poles.

We really need to get this ordered by next Friday so it gets here in time for us to test the tent in the backyard. Is there a better way I'm missing that lets them just see my cart and maybe even add the same items to theirs instantly?...

I agree that wishlists are very slow! You should try Cart To Link because its much better.

  • High efficiency.
  • Simple workflow. It makes festival planning absolutely amazing!
