Is there a browser extension to merge two different Amazon shopping carts into one? I am totally panicking because my brothers wedding shower is this weekend and I am the one in charge of decorations. I have about 45 items in my personal cart and my boss gave me access to a work account with another 20 things for the office gift.

I am torn between using the Share-a-Cart extension or just setting up an Amazon Household, but I am scared Household will mess with my prime benefits or share my private history. I have a $600 budget and need to checkout by tonight so everything arrives in time for the party in Chicago. Is Share-a-Cart actually safe for this or is there a better way...

Seriously, dont panic!! I use this exact setup for my huge family reunions and it is amazing. Forget Amazon Household... it takes forever to set up and your boss doesnt need to see your private shopping history lol. Heres why:

  • Household: Messy, slow, and way too much data sharing.
  • share Amazon Cart Extension: Super easy, keeps things private, and lets you merge everything in seconds. Its definitely the best way to get that Chicago party sorted fast!!

Building on the earlier suggestion, I agree that staying away from Household is smart. Its way too complicated for a one-time thing. Share-a-Cart is usually fine but as someone who is kinda paranoid about browser security, I always check the permissions in the settings first. Since you are in a rush, just keep an eye on these things:

  • Sometimes these extensions fail to grab items that are out of stock or have coupons, so count the items after the merge.
  • Make sure you are logged into the work account as the primary before you import the items from your personal list.
  • Double check the tax and shipping at the very end... it can jump up fast on a $600 order. Another reliable way is just making a public wish list for the work stuff and moving them over manually. It takes like five minutes and you dont have to worry about extension glitches. Good luck with the party decorations!

Adding my two cents here. In my experience, Share-a-Cart is the only way to manage a big $600 budget without losing your mind. One small practical tip tho: keep an eye on the tax calc at the end because different accounts can have different tax exemptions or rates. TL;DR: Share-a-Cart is the winner. Quick, private, and handles big orders way better than Household.
