When exactly does Ace Hardware do their biggest paint sales or like those buy one get one free deals? I am totally new to DIY stuff and honestly I have no idea how much paint even costs usually but I went in the other day and it seemed really expensive for just one gallon.

I need to paint my whole living room because the previous owners left it this weird muddy brown color and I hate looking at it lol. I only have about 150 dollars to spend on everything like the paint and the rollers and that tape stuff so I really need to catch a sale or I wont be able to finish it. There is an Ace right down the street from me here in Bend and they carry Benjamin Moore and some other brand called Clark and Kensington but I dont know the difference at all or which one is easier for a beginner to use without making a mess.

Sorry if this is a super basic thing to ask but do they do sales for Memorial Day or maybe like a spring cleaning thing? My friend said something about a buy two get one thing they saw once but they couldnt remember when it was or if it was only for certain colors. I just want to make sure I dont buy it today and then see it half off next week because that would be my luck...
