Ugh I'm honestly so over trying to figure out this flash situation for my Z6II. I've got this wedding gig in Seattle next month and I'm panicking because my old speedlights are acting all glitchy on the mirrorless body. I spent hours online and everyone keeps pushing the SB-5000 but honestly $600 is way over my budget right now since I just dropped a ton on the new lenses. I keep seeing the Godox V1 mentioned as a solid alternative but then some threads say the AF assist beam wont even fire on mirrorless cameras? Or it only works on DSLRs? I just need something reliable that actually talks to the Z system properly without costing a whole paycheck... what are you guys actually using?
