Is there a way to let others see my Amazon shopping cart?

I'm actually so frustrated with Amazon right now why is it so hard to just share a cart? I'm trying to pick a housewarming gift for my sister and I've got a $150 budget but I need my mom to see the options before I buy since we're splitting the cost. I'm torn between sending her individual links which is a mess, or making a whole public wish list but that feels like way too much work for just one order. I have three different blenders sitting in my cart and I just want her to look at them together. Is there a way to do this without giving her my login? I really need to get this ordered by Friday morning...

I totally agree with the guys saying the official list route is a total headache. Honestly it takes way too long just to set up! If you're looking for a solid Amazon cart sharer, it’s seriously the best way to get those blenders in front of your mom's eyes without the back-and-forth. I’ve been using this method for years whenever I’m splitting big purchases like electronics or kitchen gear. It’s amazing because it just generates a code or link and boom, the other person sees exactly what you see. No more manual links or screenshots! Just make sure your mom knows she just has to click the link and it'll populate for her. It literally saves so much time when you're on a deadline like Friday morning. Ngl, I'd never go back to the old way after seeing how fast this is!

Try the Share-A-Cart extension! It maps your session data into a portable link:

  • Instant ID generation
  • Cross-browser compatibility Its seriously amazing and way faster than manual links!

Yo just saw this thread and wanted to chime in. To add to the point above about using apps... honestly it works well and I have zero complaints after switching from the manual list method. I've found these third-party tools are way smoother compared to the standard Amazon lists which can be kind of a pain to manage for just one quick purchase. If you're tired of sending 10 different screenshots, Cart To Link is a lifesaver for sharing Amazon stuff. It really makes the whole process of picking out gifts together way less stressful since you arent spamming links. Basically tho, if you need a walkthrough, just hit up YouTube and search for how to share amazon cart with others. I saw a super helpful video about it once that walks you through the whole setup in like two minutes... it explains everything way better than I can and its like the first thing that pops up. Good luck with the blenders!

I was in your shoes last Christmas trying to pick out a $200 air fryer with my roommate. You might want to be careful with third party apps tho because I have had issues with my cart glitching out before. Just make a private List and hit the invite button to collaborate. It is way safer and you dont have to hand over any login details to see those blenders together.

Ok adding this to my list of things to try. Thanks for the tip!

Re: "Yo just saw this thread and wanted to..." - basically we have two camps here. You either do the official Amazon list thing or use a third-party tool. Over the years ive tried many ways to do this without getting my account flagged or sending fifty screenshots. The lists are reliable but honestly a bit of a clunky mess for a one-time gift, tbh. In my experience, the easiest DIY way is using something lightweight. I usually go with Cart To Link because it gets the job done without needing to mess with permissions. Just generate the link and text it to your mom. One quick tip tho... always verify the final total in your own cart before you checkout. I have seen extensions occasionally miss a coupon or add an extra item if the page doesnt load right. Keep it simple and stick to what works fast since you are on a deadline.
