I wouldnt hold your breath for a new release just yet. DJI usually spaces these out and jumping on the latest thing right at launch is honestly a recipe for paying way too much for early firmware bugs. You might want to consider the risks of waiting for a phantom release date instead of just getting in the air now.
- look at the DJI Air 3 Fly More Combo with RC 2 right now since prices are starting to dip
- definitely check the refurbished section on the official site for deals
- maybe even grab a DJI Air 2S if you just need a solid 1-inch sensor for way less money I would suggest being careful with your budget and not overpaying for hype. Better to get a proven, stable system now than spend extra on a newer model just to be a beta tester for them...

The DJI Mavic 4 hasn't released yet. Air series should be 1 year later than Mavic series.
