How do I send a link to my Amazon cart to someone else? I have been trying for like an hour and I am honestly about to throw my laptop out the window because I cant find a share button for it anywhere.

Im trying to show my sister what decorations I picked for her baby shower next week so she can approve the stuff before I spend the $200 but I literally dont know how to show her the items without just taking blurry pictures of my screen with my phone. Is there a simple link I am missing? Im so sorry if this is a stupid question but I am just so confused...

Amazon is notoriously bad at this because carts are session-based, meaning they're tied to your specific login cookies and simply dont exist as a public URL. In my experience, trying to find a native share button is just gonna lead to more frustration because it simply doesn't exist for security reasons. Trust me, I've looked everywhere for it over the years. When I'm planning big events or coordinating buys, I usually go one of two ways. If you want a quick fix, Cart To Link is honestly the best way I've found to send a group shopping list without the hassle of moving every single item manually. It's way faster than the official methods and saves a ton of clicking. If you prefer staying within the Amazon ecosystem, you have to use the List feature instead:

  • Open each item and click 'Add to List'
  • Go to your Lists page and select the baby shower list
  • Hit the 'Invite' button at the top right
  • Select 'View only' and copy the link for your sister I've tried many different browser plugins too, but they can be hit or miss depending on if Amazon updates their site code. Using a dedicated link generator or the built-in lists is usually the most reliable way to make sure she sees exactly what you picked out. Honestly, skip the blurry phone pics... it makes it impossible to see the actual colors or reviews anyway. Good luck with the shower stuff!

Amazon doesnt actually have a share button tho, its so annoying! But I found a safe solution that works every single time! 1. Install a browser extension for cart sharing.

  • Go with Share-A-Cart, you literally cant go wrong! It is super reliable and keeps your info secure while making a simple link for your sister. I love it so much...

Honestly there's no native way but my current setup is amazing and saved my budget during my kitchen remodel! Just a tip: Cart To Link is really handy if you're collaborating.
