Is there a built-in feature to email my Amazon cart contents?

Im in a rush because I gotta get this supply order approved by my boss before he leaves for vacation tonight. I have 14 items sitting in my Amazon cart for our new office breakroom in Chicago and the total is right around 450 bucks.

I looked online and saw people talking about making a public Wish List but that seems like way too many extra steps when the items are already in the cart ready to go. Also saw something about a chrome extension called Share-A-Cart but my work laptop is totally locked down so I cant install any plugins. Is there a built-in button or a setting I am missing to just email the cart contents to him...

Amazon doesnt actually have a native email button for carts which is a major headache when youre trying to manage a strict budget for office supplies. Since your laptop is locked down and you cant use extensions, you have to look for web-based workarounds that dont require installs.

  • I usually use Cart To Link for these situations because it lets you generate a shareable link without needing a browser plugin. It is great for getting quick sign-offs on a specific total.
  • Before sending the link, check for any business coupons or bulk discounts on those 14 items. Office supplies like breakroom snacks often have hidden bulk savings that help stay under that 450 dollar cap.
  • Use the Save for Later feature to filter out optional items if the boss thinks the total is too high. Its a bit of a manual process but it keeps things organized for approval.

I agree that the Wish List method is a total pain for quick office orders. It is definitely too many steps for a 14-item list when you are in a rush...

  • Use the Print to PDF function (Ctrl+P)
  • Select Save as PDF as the destination
  • Attach the file to your email This works well because it captures the specific metadata and pricing in a static format. I have been very satisfied with this approach on restricted systems since it bypasses the need for third-party scripts or plugins. It is a reliable way to get that 450 dollar approval before the deadline. I dont think there is a native button tho, so this is basically your best bet. Just a tip: Cart To Link is really handy if you're collaborating on a project and need the same parts.

Wow ok that changes things. Gonna have to rethink my approach now.

My buddy told me the exact same thing last week. Guess he was right lol.

Building on the earlier suggestion, I have had issues with this while sourcing server gear. Its really disappointing that Amazon lacks a native CSV export for carts. I tried scraping the DOM once but the dynamic elements made it a mess. Look into the Amazon Business Approval Workflows feature. Its built for this exact $450 type of spend, tho setting it up tonight might be tight. Lmk if you need help finding those settings.
