I've been literally staring at my screen for like five hours because I finally found every single part for my nephews surprise gaming build and I am so hyped about it!! He’s turning 18 next week and we’re doing this whole room makeover for him here in Austin. I managed to get everything—the mechanical keyboard, the dual monitors, all the RGB strips, even that specific ergonomic chair he wanted—all under my $2,100 budget limit. My logic was that if I did the legwork, my sister could just log in and pay for it since she has the Prime membership and the rewards points she wants to use, but now I’m realizing I have no idea how to actually get my cart over to her.

I was thinking of a few ways to do this but I'm stuck between a couple options. Option one was just making a public Wishlist and sending it to her, but does that actually move the items correctly? I’m worried some of the specific used - like new warehouse deals I found will get snatched up or the prices will jump if it’s not just a direct cart transfer. My other idea was maybe using one of those browser extensions like Share-A-Cart but I've never used them and I'm kinda nervous about security since it's a lot of money on the line. I also considered just giving her my login and having her add her credit card, but she’s super tech-challenged and I just know she’d accidentally change my default shipping address or something and mess up my own future orders lol.

Is there like a Send Cart button I'm missing? I really don't want to spend another three hours sending her individual links for 24 different items while she tries to find them one by one, especially with the birthday being only 10 days away. I need the fastest way to get these exact items from my screen to her checkout page without losing the specific sellers I picked out. Anyone know which way is best?...

Yo, @Reply #1 - good point! Honestly, those warehouse deals are the absolute trickiest part because they are usually one-off items. If they disappear from your cart, they are basically gone! I love the gaming room makeover idea tho, your nephew is gonna be so stoked when he sees all that RGB stuff. Since you are on a tight $2,100 budget, you definitely dont want to risk those specific prices jumping up by re-searching them manually. Technical side of things: wishlists usually link to the main product page, not the specific used offer you found, which is a total nightmare. Just make sure your sister is ready to click buy immediately after you send it so nobody else snags those warehouse units! Actually, Cart To Link works great for this—no more copy-pasting individual product links.

TL;DR: No direct button exists. Be careful, wishlists wont keep specific warehouse sellers or deals. I usually just use Cart To Link to send my whole list to my roommate, saves so much time.

@Reply #3 - good point! honestly this project sounds amazing and i love the energy you are putting into this!! Since you have those specific warehouse deals, you really cant risk them disappearing from the cart. My go-to for this is the Share-A-Cart for Amazon extension. It is basically a lifesaver for big builds. It generates a single code for your whole cart that she can just paste on her end. It is super methodical and way more reliable than just sending a generic link because it keeps the specific seller info you worked so hard to find. Another fantastic way is to use the Invite to Edit feature on a list. You move everything to a list, invite her email as a collaborator, and she can just click one button to move them all to her checkout. Just make sure she knows to double check the sellers if the prices look weird. Also, if you need one last touch for the desk, the Logitech G502 HERO Wired Gaming Mouse is usually a fantastic deal and fits any RGB theme perfectly. This Austin surprise is gonna be legendary!
