What are the must-have accessories for a new Fujifilm X-T5?

So I finally pulled the trigger on the X-T5 after saving up for like a year and a half. It was a huge purchase for me and honestly Im kinda terrified of dropping it or scratching it up since Im taking it to Kyoto next month for a big solo trip. I spent most of my budget on the body and the 23mm f1.4 lens so I only have maybe 250 or 300 bucks left for accessories and I dont want to waste it on junk.

Ive been looking at a bunch of YouTube videos and everyone seems to say different things. Like I read that the SmallRig baseplate is a must-have for better grip but then other people say it just adds unnecessary bulk to a camera thats supposed to be compact. And then there is the whole thumb grip situation... some people swear by them for one-handed shooting but I saw a comment saying it can put weird pressure on the hot shoe and might even bend it if you arent careful. I have fairly large hands so I am worried about the ergonomics for long days of street photography but I dont want to ruin the look of the camera either.

What are the actual essential things I need to get before my trip so I dont regret anything while Im out there? Like do I really need a screen protector or extra batteries or what?...

Dude, the X-T5 is insane! For those big hands, definitely grab the SmallRig L-Shape Grip for Fujifilm X-T5 4060 because it adds just enough height for your pinky. Since youre worried about scratches, get a ULBTER Tempered Glass Screen Protector for X-T5 immediately! Oh, and Kyoto is gorgeous but youll kill a battery fast, so a spare Fujifilm NP-W235 Rechargeable Li-Ion Battery is a total lifesaver. Youre gonna love it!

^ This. Also, over the years Ive seen many people go way overboard on gear for Kyoto. 1. A colleague once spent his entire budget on specialized modular bags and weather-sealed pouches. 2. It turned into a massive ordeal because his luggage was too heavy for the local transit systems. 3. We ended up wasting days trying to ship his extra accessories back home while he missed the best light... kinda ruined the vibe tho.
