So I just got the X-S20 and everyone said the battery was supposed to be way better than the old one but honestly I am so stressed out right now because it died on me twice yesterday while I was trying to film my cousins graduation party. I missed the entire walk across the stage because the stupid red bar started flashing and then boom it just shut down and I felt like such a failure. I live in Portland and I have a big nature hike shoot coming up next Thursday for a client and I am legit terrified of this happening again. I need a reliable external power bank or maybe a dummy battery setup that actually works with the USB-C port without overheating the camera because I heard that can happen too. My budget is like $80 maybe $100 max if it is really worth it. Does anyone know which power banks actually trigger the PD charging while the camera is on?? I tried my old phone charger bank and it did literally nothing while I was recording. Im looking for something that wont fry my camera but will actually keep it alive for like 4 hours of 4k video. Is there a specific Anker model or something else people are using for this specific Fuji model? I dont want to carry 10 spare batteries in my pocket...

Agreed. I'm very satisfied with the Anker 737 Power Bank 24,000mAh 140W. It works well.

  • Verify 30W Power Delivery minimum
  • Use 60W rated cables No complaints on thermal performance.

Man I wish I found this thread sooner. Would have saved me so much hassle.
