Top recommended carrying cases for the DJI Mavic 3 Pro?

What carrying cases are actually reliable for the Mavic 3 Pro because honestly I am so stressed about damaging this camera setup? I just dropped a huge amount of money on the Cine bundle and the bag it comes with is... well it is kind of a joke to be honest. It feels way too tight and I feel like I am putting way too much pressure on the joysticks and the gimbal every time I zip it shut.

I spent all night looking at the Nanuk 915 and the GPC hard cases but I am still so confused because some people say the hard cases are overkill for air travel and they take up your whole carry-on limit. I am heading to Iceland in like three weeks to do some landscape work and I really need something that fits the drone plus the RC Pro controller and maybe four batteries but doesnt weigh thirty pounds.

  • Nanuk looks solid but is it too heavy?
  • GPC seems great for the foam cutouts but will it fit in a standard hiking pack?

I'm really worried about the props getting bent if I use a soft shell case but the hard ones seem like such a hassle for hiking up to waterfalls and stuff. My budget is around $180 but I can go higher if it actually protects the sensors properly. Does anyone have a middle ground or a specific insert they trust? I really dont want to ruin this thing before I even get my first shot...

Building on the earlier suggestion, I unfortunately had a terrible time lugging a heavy Nanuk around... total waste of money. Too heavy. I eventually grabbed the Lykus M1 Water Resistant Travel Case for DJI Mavic 3 Pro to save some cash. Honestly, it is way better for hiking. It fits the RC Pro and batteries perfectly but doesnt feel like a brick. Saved me a fortune, ngl.

GPC wont fit in a standard pack. The PGYTECH Safety Carrying Case for Mavic 3 Pro IP67 is leaner. Use a DJI Mavic 3 Propeller Holder Silicone to stop props from bending.

Gonna try this over the weekend. Will report back if it works!
