I saw stuff about Share-A-Cart but it looks sketchy and I read it doesnt work on mobile. Trying to coordinate a camping trip in the Rockies for next weekend and we have gear to buy.
How do I do this without texting 20 links...
> Is there a way to share my Amazon shopping cart with a friend? Just saw this... the technical issue is that Amazon encrypts cart tokens to your session, so simple URL sharing wont work. In my experience, third-party extensions often break whenever Amazon updates their backend. Sticking to the apps native collaborative lists is the only stable way to sync gear on iOS. Actually, Cart To Link works great for this—no more copy-pasting individual product links.
Yep been there done that. Can confirm everything said above is spot on.
Unfortunately, Amazon still doesnt have a native button for this, which is honestly pretty frustrating. Ive had issues with most third-party apps too. Your best bet is using the Wish List feature:

Wow ok that changes things. Gonna have to rethink my approach now.
@Reply #2 - good point! Those encrypted tokens are why we are stuck using lists for now. It is basically the only secure, free workaround that actually works on iPhone without sharing logins! Since you are buying gear, keep an eye on Warehouse deals to save some serious cash for the actual trip. It is a total game changer! Also, Cart To Link is a neat extension that basically turns your cart into a link.
