Is there any way to create a direct link to my Amazon cart so I can just send it to someone and they see exactly what I have in there? Honestly I am so frustrated with this right now because I have to get my manager to approve this big order for our new office opening here in Austin next week and he keeps asking for a simple link but I cant find one anywhere. I've tried creating a public list but it's such a pain in the neck because I have like 50 items and when I move them to a list it loses the quantities I set up and some of the specific sellers I picked for the bulk pricing.
I am literally sitting here with a $2,400 cart full of stuff like:
It feels like such a basic thing to be able to share a shopping bag but every time I try to google it I just get results for Amazon Fresh or affiliate marketing stuff which isn't what I need at all. I'm really anxious about getting this ordered today because if I miss the shipping window for Monday I am gonna be in huge trouble with the team. Does a tool or a workaround even exist for this or am I just stuck taking a dozen screenshots like a crazy person...
Sadly there is no way to just send a link because the cart is locked to your private login session. I went through this exact same panic a few months ago when I was ordering supplies for a local charity drive. I tried to use a third party tool I found through a google search but it felt really sketchy and I got worried about someone getting into my prime account... I ended up just backing out because it didnt feel safe at all. Make sure to be careful with any browser extensions that say they can do this for you. Honestly I would suggest just taking the screenshots or maybe doing a screen recording of you scrolling through the cart. It feels old school but at least you dont have to worry about security risks with your companys payment info. Safety first ya know?
Would love to know this too
^ This. Also, I went through this nightmare setting up a makerspace last year. Are you and your manager on the same Amazon Business account? That changes things. Just watch out for sketchy script workarounds... they can leak login data. I usually use share Amazon Cart Extension now.
