im actually so frustrated right now with these sandisk cards ive been using in my a7 iv like honestly the camera keeps stopping in the middle of recording 4k 60p and giving me that stupid buffer error. it happens every time i try to film anything important. i have a wedding coming up next weekend here in seattle and i seriously cannot have the camera freezing up like this. i need something that actually works for 10-bit 4:2:2 video. i can spend maybe $250.

  • what v90 brands are actually reliable
  • are there cheaper sd options than cfexpress

v60 just isnt cutting it anymore and im losing my mind...

Been really satisfied with these for 4k 60p:

Saw your post and had to jump in because I went through this exact same nightmare last year. I was trying to shoot a long-form event on my a7 IV and my old cards just couldnt handle the 4K 60p bitrate. It kept cutting out right at the worst moments. Basically, the camera is super sensitive to sustained write speeds, and some brands just dont stay consistent once they heat up during long takes. I did a bunch of testing to see what actually works without throwing errors every five minutes. These are the ones I found to be the most reliable:
