I really need to know which cage brands actually fit the Panasonic Lumix S5II because I am so confused by all the options and I'm worried about buying the wrong thing. I just got the camera yesterday and I have a wedding to film for my cousin in Chicago in exactly two weeks so I'm kinda panicking since I have zero gear right now.

I keep seeing things about SmallRig and Blackmamba and Tilta but I honestly have no idea what the difference is or if one is better than the other. Like do they all fit the same or do some of them block the buttons or the battery door? I really need to be able to change the battery fast during the ceremony without taking the whole thing apart. My budget is pretty tight like maybe $80 or $100 max because I spent all my money on the lens and the body.

Also does the cage come with the handle or do I have to buy that separately? Sorry if this is a really dumb question but I'm just starting out and everything on Amazon looks the same to me and I dont want to waste money on something that doesn't even work right...

Honestly, dont panic. For the S5II, you should look at the SmallRig 4022 Cage for Panasonic LUMIX S5 II. It fits perfectly and leaves the battery door clear. Be careful tho, handles are usually separate unless you find a kit. If you're on a budget, I would suggest avoiding the SmallRig 4148 Black Mamba Cage for LUMIX S5 II because its pricier and might not come with the accessories you need for that wedding.

TL;DR: Tilta is the strongest alternative for modularity. Like someone mentioned, SmallRig is a solid starting point, but in my experience the Tilta Full Camera Cage for Panasonic S5 II/IIX Black TA-T50-FCC-B provides superior access to the top dials. Quick tip: verify the cage has a built-in Arca-Swiss base to avoid fumbling with plates. Before recommending a kit, what specific accessories do you plan to mount? Most handles are sold separately.
