What are the must-have accessories for a Panasonic Lumix GH6?

I just pulled the trigger on a Lumix GH6 for a wedding shoot I have coming up in Seattle next month and honestly I'm lowkey panicking about the storage and power situations. This thing eats batteries like crazy from what I've read online and I only have about $400 left in my budget after buying the body and the 12-35mm lens. I'm torn between getting the official Panasonic DMW-BGGH6 battery grip so I dont have to swap during the ceremony or just buying like five Wasabi third-party batteries and a fast charger. The grip is so expensive but maybe it's safer? Then there's the card situation... I need a CFexpress Type B for the high bitrates but I cant decide if I should go with the 512GB SanDisk Extreme Pro or the ProGrade Digital Cobalt. The SanDisk is cheaper but I've heard the ProGrade is more reliable for long video takes and I really dont want the camera to overheat or fail while they're saying their vows. I'm also looking at a SmallRig cage but maybe that's overkill for now if I need to prioritize the media? My timeline is tight cuz I need to test everything before the wedding. Which of these combos should I prioritize so I don't go over my $400 limit?

Sadly the official grip is overpriced and kinda unnecessary.

Late to the party but I've tried many setups over the years. In my experience, skip the grip and grab the SmallRig Camera Cage for Panasonic LUMIX GH6 3784 instead. For media, the Lexar Professional CFexpress Type B Card GOLD Series 512GB is rock solid for long takes. Quick tip: just run a PD power bank to the USB port during the vows. Its way cheaper than buying five batteries.

Love the energy here! The GH6 is an absolute monster for weddings and the footage is gonna look fantastic! Just a heads up from someone who has been in the trenches tho... you really gotta be careful with third-party power. Some generic batteries dont play nice with the GH6 high power draw, and nothing kills a vibe faster than the camera just dying during the vows without a low-battery warning. It happens way more than people think! If you're thinking about using a power bank, definitely check the specs first. The camera needs a specific power delivery wattage to actually run and charge at the same time, otherwise you're still just draining the internal battery. I always tell people to bookmark the official Lumix Global compatibility list for media. Its an amazing resource that shows exactly which cards are certified for the highest bitrates. Dont just trust a random review online when your paycheck is on the line! Better to be safe and methodical than sorry.

Like someone mentioned, skipping that official grip is definitely a smart move. I've been super happy using the Angelbird AV PRO CFexpress Type B SE 512GB because it handles the GH6 high bitrates with no complaints. Its way cheaper than Cobalt stuff but works well for long wedding sets. Tbh you should grab the SmallRig GH6 Black Mamba Cage too... makes the body way easier to hold for hours during a ceremony.
