Best budget-friendly tripods for the Nikon Z6 mirrorless camera?

I just got a Nikon Z6 and I'm freaking out a bit because I spent almost my whole budget on the body and now I need a tripod for this hiking trip to Zion in three weeks. I really don't want to spend more than like $120-$130 but I'm legit terrified of putting an expensive camera on some flimsy legs that might snap or tip over.

I've narrowed it down to these three but I'm totally stuck:

  • K&F Concept 64 inch (the one everyone sees on Amazon)
  • Manfrotto Element MII Aluminum
  • Benro Slim Carbon Fiber (found a deal on it)

I'm leaning toward the K&F because it's the cheapest but then I worry about the quality. Is the Manfrotto actually better or are you just paying for the name? I need something that:

  • fits in a standard carry-on bag
  • stays steady for long exposure star shots
  • wont break the first time I take it on a trail
  • supports the weight of the Z6 with a 24-70 lens

I'm so stressed about picking the wrong one and having my camera crash into the dirt. Does anyone have experience with these specific ones on a Z6? I really need to pull the trigger tonight or tomorrow so I can test it before I fly out...

Honestly, over the years I have learned that saving thirty bucks isnt worth the risk of a tip-over. In my experience, the Manfrotto Element MII Aluminum Travel Tripod is much more reliable than the K&F for long exposures. Its built better for the Nikon Z6. I also think the Benro Slim Carbon Fiber Lightweight Tripod is a solid choice for Zion because it stays light but feels totally secure.

Like someone mentioned, you dont want your Z6 face-planting. Quick question: are you gonna use any heavy glass later or just the 24-70? I've been super happy with the Sirui Traveller 5C Carbon Fiber Tripod lately.

  • has a weight hook for Zion winds
  • carbon legs soak up vibrations better for long exposures
  • fits in my carry-on easily Basically the build is way better than the K&F... feels less like a toy.
