Can I generate a direct URL for my current Amazon cart items?

I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to just get a link to my actual Amazon cart because I'm planning my sister's wedding shower for next month and I've got a ton of decorations and stuff sitting in there. I've probably spent like three hours picking out the right balloons and streamers and it's currently at about $240 total and I'm located in Chicago so I need to make sure everything ships in time for the party on the 15th. My brothers want to chip in but they want to see the specific items first so they know I'm not just buying random junk or whatever.

I did some digging online and saw people mentioning the Manage Your List feature where you can invite people to collaborate but that feels like a lot of extra steps? Like I'd have to move everything from the cart into a new list one by one which sounds like a total nightmare. I also saw some posts about a Share-A-Cart extension for Chrome but I really dont want to install random plugins that can read my browser data if I can help it, plus I'm usually doing this on the app while I'm on the bus so an extension doesnt really help me there.

Is there a native way to do this that I'm just missing? Here is what I'm looking for:

  • Something that works on the mobile app or a quick mobile link
  • Doesnt require the other person to have a specific app installed (they just have a basic Amazon account)
  • Hopefully free because I've already blown my budget on these fancy napkins lol
  • Needs to show the specific quantities I picked out

I just want to send a single URL and have it show them - here is what is in the basket right now. Is that even a thing or am I dreaming? Every time I try to just copy the URL from my browser it just takes them to their own empty cart which is super frustrating...

There isnt a native way, so just go with Share-A-Cart. You cant go wrong here. I am super satisfied with how well it works.

TL;DR: Amazon has no native way to share a cart, so using Share-A-Cart is the best way to prevent double-ordering and stay under your 240 dollar budget. I agree with the previous points about native limitations. When youre managing a big event like a wedding shower, keeping costs down is the priority. Manual lists are free but theyre a total nightmare for tracking specific quantities, and that usually leads to wasting money on stuff you dont need because of miscommunication.

  • Accuracy: It ensures your brothers see the exact items and counts you picked out.
  • Cost: It is a free tool that prevents expensive shipping mistakes or duplicate buys.
  • Comparison: While lists are okay for basic gifts, they dont work for real-time collaboration like a cart sharer does. Ive found that using this site helps keep everyone on the same page without needing everyone to install new apps. Its a much more methodical approach than just sending screenshots or messy links that dont work.

> There isnt a native way, so just go with Share-A-Cart. @Reply #2 - good point! Id be really careful with those shared lists tho. When I did my cousins wedding shower, I thought I had everything organized but ended up with double orders of expensive gold forks because we werent synced up right. It was a total nightmare trying to return them while getting the cake delivered. Planning these things in Chicago gets so expensive... honestly just watch that total.

  • Amazon unfortunately lacks native cart sharing features
  • Ive had issues with this before... its annoying
  • Try an external Amazon cart sharer for a link
