You can pre-order at Amazon, B&H Photo Video, Adorama immediately when R5 Mark II is announced.

@asas_n6 Be sure to order ASAP, because it could sold out very quickly.

To add to the point above: I am honestly pretty worried about the launch after my experience with the original R5 release. I remember being so hyped that I stayed up till 3 AM just to be first in line, but then the compatibility headaches started. My high-speed UHS-II cards that worked perfectly in my older bodies suddenly struggled with the high-bitrate video, and the whole system felt like it was thermal throttling way sooner than the spec sheet suggested it should. It was a massive letdown tbh. I spent weeks on technical forums just trying to figure out why my external recorder wouldn't handshake properly with the micro-HDMI port... basically spent more time troubleshooting than actually taking photos. Just makes me wonder if this new version is gonna have those same day-one architecture quirks that drive you crazy when you're in the field. It was such a whole ordeal just to get the firmware stable enough for a professional shoot.

I wouldn't order EOS R5 Mark II until I saw some real world reviews.
