I am so hyped right now because me and my best friend are finally doing this massive road trip to Yosemite next Thursday and we have literally nothing ready yet lol. I spent like three hours last night hunting down the perfect gear on Amazon like a portable stove, those heavy-duty sleeping pads, a decent cooler that wont leak everywhere, and some solar chargers. My cart is basically a masterpiece right now with like 22 items and it totals almost $850 which is right at our budget cap but I need him to see it before I hit buy. I dont want to just buy it and then have him tell me he hates the brand of tent I picked or that we dont need the extra lanterns.

I tried looking up how to just send the whole cart link and I saw some stuff about creating a Baby Registry just to share a list but that feels super weird and extra for a camping trip? I also read that using the Idea List feature is the way to go but then some people on a forum were saying that those lists dont show the actual current prices or shipping dates as accurately as the cart does which is a huge deal since we need this stuff by Wednesday. Then I saw some people mentioning a Chrome extension called Share-a-Cart but I am always kinda sketched out about adding random extensions to my browser especially when it involves my shopping accounts and credit card info being logged in. Is there seriously not just a share cart button natively in the app or on the site? I tried the Manage List thing but it makes me move everything out of my cart one by one into a new list and then I have to move it all back to buy it which seems like a total headache and I might forget something in the process.

How can I just send him a link to exactly what is sitting in my cart right now so he can look it over on his own phone and give me the thumbs up? I really dont want to screenshot every single item because that is gonna take forever and be a mess to scroll through...

Okay so I finally did it! I saved up for months and just bought my first real camera which is the Sony a7 IV and omg the pictures look so good but I have a major problem that I didnt even think about before I bought it. The strap that comes in the box is like super scratchy and stiff? I tried wearing it around my house for like an hour just to practice and my neck was already starting to hurt which is kinda pathetic lol but I'm just not used to having that much weight hanging off me I guess. I mean the camera isnt even that big but with the lens on there it feels way heavier than I expected.

So I was thinking maybe I need something with more padding but then I saw some people online talking about these sling things where it goes across your chest instead of just around your neck? My logic was that it might distribute the weight better but I'm honestly so confused by all the different clips and systems and I dont want the camera to fall off if I dont click it in right. I saw this brand called Peak Design and everyone seems to love them but they're kinda pricey and I dont even know if the anchors will work on my Sony or if I'm gonna break something by accident. I'm going to Yellowstone in about three weeks so I really need to find something soon because I'm gonna be hiking a lot and I dont want to be miserable the whole time.

I have about $60 or maybe $75 left in my budget after blowing the rest on the lens so I cant go too crazy with professional gear. I saw a few things while I was browsing:

the ones with the little red loops

thick neoprene ones that look like a gym bag strap

some leather ones that look cool but maybe they're uncomfortable?

Is there a specific one that is like super soft on the skin? Or should I be looking for something wider? I saw one that looked like it was made of seatbelt material which sounds weird but maybe it slides better? I just want to be able to walk around all day without feeling like my neck is being sliced in half. Does anyone have a favorite that works specifically well with the Sony bodies? Sorry if this is a really basic question I just have no idea where to start and everything on Amazon looks the same...

Is there some kind of way to link my Amazon cart with my husbands so we can see what the other person is adding in real time? I'm honestly so confused by how these accounts work and I'm really sorry if this is a super basic question that everyone already knows the answer to but I am just totally lost. We are moving into our first house in Austin next month and the timeline is getting really tight now so we need to start ordering a bunch of stuff like kitchen supplies and bathroom sets and some light fixtures but it's becoming a total nightmare.

Right now what happens is I'll find a set of towels I like and put them in my cart and then he'll find a completely different set and put them in his cart and then we realize we have two sets of towels and no way to really compare them easily without sitting down at the same computer which we rarely have time to do because of our work schedules. I tried looking at the settings but it's all very overwhelming and I'm scared I'm gonna accidentally delete my whole account or something if I click the wrong thing lol.

Is there a shared cart button somewhere? We have a budget of about $2,200 for this initial round of house stuff and I really don't want to mess up and buy duplicates because returning things is such a hassle for me. I heard someone mention something called a - household - thing but I don't know if that's for sharing the cart or just for the prime shipping benefits.

If we do the household thing does he see everything I buy? Like if I bought him a birthday present would he see it in the cart? That would kind of ruin the surprise. I just want a simple way for us to both throw things into one spot before we hit the buy button so we can look at it together on Friday nights. If anyone knows the easiest way to set this up for someone who isn't great with apps and websites please let me know because I am struggling a lot right now...

I just picked mine up for a photography trip to the Scottish Highlands in three weeks and I am trying to figure out what else I need besides the drone itself. I saw a lot of people saying ND filters are essential for that cinematic look but then I read on a forum that they are basically useless if you are mostly taking photos which is what I plan to do mostly.

What are the best battery grips for a Canon camera if I want to keep shooting for hours and not worry about the power dying? Sorry if this is a really dumb question I literally just started getting into photography like a month ago and I dont really know what I'm doing yet. I have a Canon 90D that I got used and I was trying to take pictures at my cousins graduation last weekend but the battery just quit on me right when they were walking across the stage which was super embarrassing. I saw some people have these big attachments on the bottom of their cameras and someone told me they hold extra batteries?? I looked online and the official Canon brand ones are like 200 dollars which is crazy because my budget is closer to maybe 80 or 100 max since I already spent so much on the lens. Are the cheaper ones on Amazon like Neewer or Vivitar actually safe to use or will they like fry my camera? I have a big local street festival coming up in Chicago in two weeks and I really want to be able to shoot all day without carrying a pocket full of loose batteries. Is there a specific one that everyone likes that wont break the bank? I just want something reliable so I dont miss the shots again...
